Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m 22 years old, based in Wellington Somerset. I’m very much into traveling. I do a lot of hikes, climbing mountains, camping, wild swimming, and lots more! This allows me to focus my time on my photography work.
Why do you love getting outside in Somerset?
Freedom, fresh air and meeting people – It’s an escape from reality.
Can you tell us a little more about any outdoor activities you love in particular, and how you got into them?
I started through solo-travel around Northern Ireland, which I did in my free time. Then I moved back to England and did two-to-three months travelling around where ever I could! I love hikes, mountains, cycling and camping.
Where are your favourite places to go outside in Somerset?
Exploring the Quantocks and Exmoor.
What advice would you give to people who want to get outside more?
Start by visiting somewhere local you haven’t been before, see something new and you will fall in love with exploring further! You will start to notice how many amazing walks there are nearby.
